About AEML
Sparking Indonesia’s Electric Vehicle Revolution
Welcome to AEML, Indonesia’s Electric Vehicle Ecosystem Association. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to catalyzing the development of a world-class electric mobility ecosystem in Indonesia. AEML engages, sustains, and grows the EV ecosystem through strategic partnerships with leaders in the EV manufacturing industry and related stakeholders, such as component suppliers, battery providers, and infrastructure players. By bringing together these key stakeholders, we strive to build a collaborative environment for the adoption of EVs and generate economic and social value for Indonesia.

Our Vision
AEML hopes to support the adoption of electric vehicles in Indonesia and foster the creation of a globally competitive electric vehicle ecosystem. We act as a forum for policy advocacy, facilitate meaningful discussions between our members, encourage synergy and multi-stakeholder cooperation, and create lasting partnerships that build strong domestic value chains. By fostering innovation and collaboration, we hope to propel the electrification of transportation and contribute to a more sustainable future for all.

Our mission is to develop an electric mobility ecosystem that provides efficient, environmentally friendly, and sustainable transportation solutions. We are dedicated to implementing world-class technologies and leveraging our resources to provide meaningful, relevant, and reliable solutions for EV adoption in Indonesia. As a trusted partner for the Indonesian government, we are committed to transparency and aim to make our research available to the general public. Our goal is to contribute to the nation’s journey toward decarbonization and support the government’s energy sovereignty initiative. Above all, we embrace our responsibility to protect the environment and the communities we serve — ensuring a greener, cleaner, and more prosperous future.
